This versatile drink is a wonderful alternative to a dessert after dinner! It is easy and quick to make, can be served hot or cold, with rum or without. Try it this weekend and let us know what you think!
Give the coconut flakes a roast on a hot pan until golden. Bring milk, coconut milk and cream almost to the boiling point and remove from the heat. Add the roasted coconut. Allow to cool off.
Chop the chocolate, put it in a bowl and sift in the hot milk mixture. Add rum and mix well. Keep warm, by placing the bowl in close-to-boiling water.
Serve the drink in pretty glasses and sprinkle roasted coconut on top before serving.
It is also delicious served cold and/or without rum!
